Forrest entered the financial services industry in 2012. Prior to joining Aspen Wealth Strategies, Forrest worked at RBC Wealth Management, where he served as the lead ETF Analyst for the U.S. Wealth Division. Before joining RBC, Forrest served six years at Wells Fargo, where he held roles as a Portfolio Manager with the Equity Optimization team, worked as an Equity Analyst on a large cap growth strategy, and spent time as an Investment Manager working directly with clients.
Forrest graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Financial Markets Finance. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Forrest is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado. In addition, he has completed levels I & II of the Chartered Market Technician program.
Originally from Minnesota, Forrest moved to Colorado in 2020 and immediately fell in love with the mountains and everything Colorado has to offer. He appreciates anything that involves the outdoors, particularly snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking. He currently lives with his wife, Bekah, in Nederland.
